It wasn’t about the fame and it sure as hell wasn’t about the money. Fall Out Boy, for what it was then and still is today, is about the friendship. The bond between the guys and the fans. It’s about the music, the combination of talents, for all the right reasons. To give something to kids to bring them together. I stand behind them for the boys they were then and the men they are now. I stand behind every minor and major decision, because that’s what a fan does. I’m climbing the highs and coasting the downs along with them. They could never make another record under the name and I’ll be just as supportive and happy as I was as a teenager, living and breathing Take This To Your Grave. Sometimes I’m not sure I make this clear enough. They did enough to make me who I am through the years, letting me know I’m not the only insane-running machine in existence, the least I could do is follow through.
